Kühlen Verlag for the German-speaking area since 1903.The liturgical calendar is based on the general Roman calendar and the regional calendar for the German-speaking area; according to this, the information on the front of the calendar is designed with additional references to readings and gospels, psalms, the Liturgy of the Hours, name days and memorial days.
The gospel is offered on the back on Sundays and public holidays.
The Popes prayer requests, thoughts, aphorisms of great thinkers, theologians and saints from the past and present accompany the reader throughout the day and year.The liturgical calendar contains:- the ecclesiastical festivals (solemnities, festivals, required and non-required commemorations, church and diocesan festivals and name days) are highlighted according to their font size.
For Sundays and holy days of obligation, the date and name appear in red.
